On ne fait pas de pr\u00eat de cage. Vous pouvez par contre devenir famille d\u2019accueil pour nous et nous vous fournirons le n\u00e9cessaire. Pour se faire vous devez remplir une entente famille d\u2019accueil avec nous apr\u00e8s avoir rempli un formulaire de famille d\u2019accueil en ligne. Vous devez de plus c\u00e9der l\u2019oiseau trouv\u00e9 \u00e0 notre organisme et en prendre soins pendant 2 mois minimum. Si cette option vous int\u00e9resse m, veuillez vous rendre sur notre site et remplir une demande pour devenir famille d\u2019accueil dans le menu comment aider.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Voici quelques trucs pour vous aider \u00e0 attraper un oiseau :<\/p>\n

Offrez-lui de la nourriture d\u2019une main et tendez-lui un doigt de l\u2019autre main, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il doive se tenir sur votre doigt pour avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la nourriture, puis dirigez-vous tout doucement vers un endroit s\u00e9curitaire sans faire de mouvements brusques.<\/p>\n

S\u2019il va dans une mangeoire, mettez une cage autour de la mangeoire avec une ficelle reli\u00e9e \u00e0 la porte et tir\u00e9e sur la ficelle lorsque l\u2019oiseau est entr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

S\u2019il est au sol, essayez la m\u00eame chose mais \u00e0 son niveau sinon, jetez de la nourriture au sol et lorsqu\u2019il va manger, jetez une serviette par dessus ou un manteau l\u00e9ger quand il s\u2019en attend le moins ou, essayez avec la cage au sol.<\/p>\n

Laissez-nous savoir si vous revoyez l\u2019oiseau ou si vous r\u00e9ussissez \u00e0 le capturer.<\/p>\n

If we have mentionned not to fill out multiple wanted notices, it is to avoid extra work to our volunteer that do a lot already. We sent you ways to capture the bird. We cannot sent volunteers over and wait until the bird appears. If the bird has been around for 2 weeks, he is smarter than most and has learned to survive, so he will be very hard to catch, that we know. We are an extraordinary resource to HELP BIRD and have been doing it for 15 years with over a thousand birds a year and all for free and all of that is possible because of our big hearted volunteers. 35% find their way home because of our organisation.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t lend cages because we need them for our many bird in foster all over the Province. We offered you a way to get a cage by becoming a foster family, that way, you become responsible for the cage. We do have rules to follow.<\/p>\n

Sorry if you feel that we are not helping you. We published your ad, we sent you procedures to help you catch the bird, we monitor all possible match, we have shared your ad on our social networks with over 15,000 bird lovers followers. So if this is doing nothing to help, i guess we are not helping.<\/p>\n

My heart breaks to see him arrive first thing in the morning, alone, come and go all day till 7pm. It\u2019s been 3 weeks now.<\/p>\n

You are the best person to help him, he comes to your place to feed. If you want to capture him, i suggest you buy a cheap cage on Market place, put the feeder in and a fishing rope tied to the door and wait until he comes feeding and close the door with the fish line. You are on the spot already and you see him every day. If i had a bird come to my feeder, i would do just that.<\/p>\n

If he goes feeding on the ground, use a landry basket in which you fold your clothes in. Raise the basket at one end with a piece of wood and tie a fishing line or a tiny wrope to that piece of wood holding up the basket. Put bird food under it and when he comes feeding, pull on the wrope so he is prisoner of the basket.<\/p>\n

A ressource like ours has to work for a living and the time remaining, we have obligations like anyone else although we give 4 to 5 hours of volunteering everyday to help birds and people like you and that we do, even if you feel that we don\u2019t. Friday night at 21h30, i am still writing to you to reach out. You must understand that this time of year, we are short on volunteers because they are on vacations just like everyone else.<\/p>\n

You can help that bird, you just have to be smarter than he is. He will not survive the winter and he is lucky that predators haven\u2019t got to him, but you must understand that we cannot run to catch a thousand bird a year, we just don\u2019t have enough resources. We rely on the emergency of the situation and the volunteers available. To give more services, we either need to stop working for a living or have more volunteers. You can become one of them and give 4 to 5 hours a day. You are more than welcome!<\/p>\n
