On voit de plus en plus d\u2019adeptes du vol libre et pourtant m\u00eame les plus chevronn\u00e9s perdent leurs oiseaux. Un oiseau entra\u00een\u00e9 \u00e0 revenir vers vous le fera probablement \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, consid\u00e9rant qu\u2019il en soit capable et qu\u2019il ait ses ailes pleines. Un oiseau qui s\u2019est envol\u00e9 peut se voir contraint de ne plus pouvoir revenir si un pr\u00e9dateur le pourchasse, s\u2019il heurte quelque chose ou s\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 heurt\u00e9 par quelque chose, si le vent lui joue des tours, s\u2019il s\u2019est aventur\u00e9 trop loin et a perdu son chemin, s\u2019il est \u00e9puis\u00e9 au point de tomber dans une grande \u00e9tendue d\u2019eau qu\u2019il n\u2019aura su traverser etc\u2026<\/p>\n

Quoi de plus beau qu\u2019un oiseau qui vole librement? Effectivement, c\u2019est de toute beaut\u00e9 mais si vous pratiquez le vol libre avec le v\u00f4tre, ind\u00e9niablement un jour il ne reviendra pas\u2026\u00eates-vous pr\u00eat \u00e0 courir le risque?<\/p>\n

On nous a \u00e9galement rapport\u00e9 que plusieurs animaleries, v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires et autres se sp\u00e9cialisant dans le domaine des oiseaux, pr\u00f4nent la taille d\u2019ailes pour pr\u00e9venir la perte d\u2019un oiseau et cette croyance populaire est totalement erron\u00e9e. Sachez que le 1\/3 des oiseaux perdus ont ou avaient les ailes taill\u00e9es. Pire encore, certaines personne se prom\u00e8nent avec leurs oiseaux sur l\u2019\u00e9paule, les ailes pleines, croyant que leur oiseau restera l\u00e0 sans broncher ou restera sur une branche dans l\u2019arbre o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Quoi de plus enrichissant qu\u2019une relation de confiance avec son oiseau au point de sortir avec lui dehors sans harnais, les ailes pleines ou taill\u00e9es? Quand votre oiseau s\u2019envolera suite \u00e0 un bruit qui lui aura fait peur ou un mouvement brusque, \u00e7a n\u2019aura rien \u00e0 voir avec la confiance ou l\u2019amour qu\u2019il vous porte. C\u2019est un r\u00e9flexe de survie pour un oiseau de fuir au moindre danger, ailes pleines ou non. Si vous le perdez de vue alors qu\u2019il a les ailes taill\u00e9es, ses chances de survie sont diminu\u00e9es consid\u00e9rablement.<\/p>\n

Optez pour le harnais, c\u2019est la fa\u00e7on la plus s\u00e9curitaire de permettre \u00e0 son oiseau de voler \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur ou d\u2019\u00eatre avec vous \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur sur votre \u00e9paule. Vous aimez votre oiseau et la responsabilit\u00e9 d\u2019assurer sa s\u00e9curit\u00e9 vous revient.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We see more and more adepts of free flight and yet even the most expert ones lose their birds too. A bird trained to return to you will probably do so outside , considering that he is able to and that he is fully flighted. A bird that flew off can no longer be able to return if a predator is on a hunt after him , if it hits something or was struck by something, if the wind plays tricks on him , if \u00a0he ventured too far and lost his way back, if he is exhausted to the point of falling into a large body of water that he has not been able to cross etc …<\/p>\n

What is more beautiful than a bird flying freely? Indeed, it is beautiful but if you practice free flight with your bird, undeniably one day he will not come back … are you willing to risk it ?<\/p>\n

It was also reported that several pet stores, veterinarians and others specializing in birds, advocate wing’s feather trimming to prevent the loss of a bird and in reality, it is totally unsafe. So you know, one third of all lost birds have or had their wings trimmed. Worse still, some people walk around with their birds on their shoulder , fully flighted, believing that their bird will remain there no matter what or will remain on a branch in the tree quite where he was placed.<\/p>\n

What’s more rewarding than a relationship based on trust, to the point of going outside with your bird without a harness, fully flightd or not? When your bird will fly off and he will, due to a noise that scared him or a sudden movement , it will have nothing to do with the trust or love he has for you. It is a basic survival instinct for a bird to take off at the slightest danger , full flighted or not. If you lose sight of your bird and he is not fully flighted, his chances of survival are reduced considerably.<\/p>\n

Choose the harness which is the safest way to allow your bird to fly outside or to be with you outside on your shoulder. If you love your bird, keep him safe and secure,\u00a0be responsible.<\/p>\n
