Abigail est très sociable, aime les caresses, aime qu'on lui parle et aime interagir avec nous. Elle aime partager notre repas, sinon elle nous le signale. Aime beaucoup le spaghetti et le riz blanc, ainsi que les fruits et légumes. Comprend les 2 langues. Elle aime fouiller pour trouver ses gâteries Nutriberries préférées, aime déchiqueter du papier et semble comprendre tout ce qu'on lui dit. Elle aime qu'on lui chante une berceuse avant le dodo, celle de la poulet grise. Abigail protège Pichou.
Pichou est de nature tranquille et plus calme et est plus petit qu'Abigail. Elle aime jouer avec des jouets qui ont des fils à défaire. Elle s'entend bien avec Abigail. Pichou aime les bleuets, les pommes, le pain et est un plus sélectif en général côté nourriture. Pichou protège sa patte gauche lorsqu'elle se tient debout. Selon le vétérinaire qui l'a vu, il s'agirait d'une blessure antérieure qui a mal guérie. Malgré tout, sa patte ne semble pas la déranger.
Abigail et Pichou passent la majorité de leur temps ensemble et aime se lisser les plumes. Les 2 oiseaux devront être adoptés ensemble et ne devront pas être séparés. Ils vivent dans la même cage et sont heureux ensemble. Les 2 oiseaux ont testé négatif aux 4 principales maladies aviaires. Il n'y a aucun frais d'adoption pour ces 2 oiseaux qui viennent avec leur cage, seul leur bonheur importe, nous serons très sélectifs !
La raison de la mise en adoption :
La propriétaire des oiseaux est déménagée à Toronto pour son travail et son appartement est tout petit. De plus, elle est appelée à voyager de plus en plus pour son travail et doit constamment faire garder les oiseaux par sa mère qui demeure à St-Lambert, qui elle ne désire pas d'oiseaux.

Perroquetsecours effectuera une sélection pour le propriétaire actuel et lui soumettra le nom des candidats ou candidates retenus qui répondent à des critères d'adoption rigoureux. Le choix final de la famille d’adoption parmi les candidats ou candidates se fera à la seule discrétion du propriétaire actuel.
Perroquetsecours doit, sur une base régulière, mettre en adoption des oiseaux trouvés et non réclamés et ce faisant, il met à jour une banque de candidats et candidates intéressés à l’adoption d’un perroquet. Par conséquent et bien que cela ne soit pas sa mission principale, il arrive à titre exceptionnel et à sa seule discrétion que Perroquetsecours accepte d’intervenir pour aider une personne dans le besoin à trouver une nouvelle famille pour un ou plusieurs de ses oiseaux

Habits and personality: (text based on information provided by the current owner)
Abigail is very sociable, loves caresses, likes us to talk to her and likes to interact with us. Likes to share our meal, otherwise she tells us. Loves spaghetti and white rice, as well as fruits and vegetables. Undertands both French and English. Likes to search for her favorite Nutriberries treats, likes shredding paper and seems to understand everything we tell her. Likes to be sung a lullaby before bed, which is the poulette grise song. Abigail protects Pichou.
Pichou is more quiet and calme and is smaller than Abigail. She likes to play with toys that have threads to undo. She gets along well with Abigail. Pichou likes blueberries, apples, bread and is more selective in general when it comes to food. Pichou protects her left leg when she is standing up. According to the veterinarian who saw her, it is due to a previous injury that didn't heal well. Despite everything, her leg does not seem to bother her.
Abigail and Pichou spend most of their time and enjoy featheri preening. The 2 birds will have to be adopted together and should not be separated. They live in the same cage and are happy together. Both birds tested negative for the four main avian diseases. There is no adoption fee for these 2 birds that come with their cage, only their happiness matters, we will be very selective!
Reason for placing in adoption:
The birds owner moved to Toronto for work and her apartment is very small. In addition, she is called to travel more and more for her work and must constantly have birds kept by her mother who lives in St-Lambert, and having bird was not in her plans.

Therefore, and although this is not its main mission, in exceptional circumstances and at its own discretion, it happens that Perroquetsecours agrees to intervene to help a person in need to find a new family for one or more of their birds.
