Doudoune a beaucoup d'amour à donner, elle est manipulable. Elle aime les adultes autant femmes ou hommes. Par contre elle n'aime pas les enfants car lorsque plus jeune, elle tentait de les mordre. Elle n'aime pas non plus les autres animaux de la maison. Elle tente de les attaquer lorsqu'ils sont en mouvement ou lorsqu'on leur donne trop d'attention. Elle a eu pendant 12 ans un compagnon de vie qui est décédé il y a 3 ans. Autrement, elle est très affectueuse et volera à vous sans hésiter puisque ses ailes ne sont jamais coupées. Pas idéal pour les gens en appartement, en condo ou en télé travail car lors des moments en cage, elle crie énormément et très fort. Elle fait également un peu de picage depuis 7 ans. Doudoune a longtemps été en couple alors idéalement mais non obligatoirement, si l’adoptant avait un compagnon de vie pour elle ce serait bien mais l’important serait surtout du temps à lui accorder. Il y a des frais d'adoption de $150.00. L'oiseau vient avec sa cage et son perchoir

La propriétaire vient d'accoucher et avec son historique de mordre les enfants, ainsi que le bruit qu'elle fait et qui nuit au sommeil du poupon, ça l'oblige à demeurer au sous-sol. N'ayant plus de qualité de vie, la propriétaire doit penser à contre coeur à l'oiseau en premier et à son bonheur.

Par conséquent et bien que cela ne soit pas sa mission principale, il arrive à titre exceptionnel et à sa seule discrétion que Perroquetsecours accepte d’intervenir pour aider une personne dans le besoin à trouver une nouvelle famille pour un ou plusieurs de ses oiseaux

Doudoune has a lot of love to give, she is easy to handle. She likes adults women or men. On the other hand she does not like children because when younger, she tried to bite them. She also doesn't like other animals in the house. She tries to attack them when they are on the move or when they are given too much attention. She had a life partner for 12 years who died 3 years ago. Otherwise, she is very affectionate and will fly to you without hesitation since her wings are never clipped. Not ideal for people living in apartments, condos or working at home because during moments in the cage, she sreams a lot and very loudly. She has also been doing a bit of plucking for 7 years. Doudoune was in a relationship for a long time so ideally but not necessarily, if the adopter had a life companion for her it would be best but the important thing would be above all quality time to give her. There is an adoption fee of $150.00. The bird comes with her cage and perch
Reason for placing in adoption:
The owner has just given birth and with her history of biting children, as well as the noise she makes which interferes with the baby's sleep, it forces her to stay in the basement. With no quality of life left, the owner must reluctantly think of the bird first and her happiness.

Perroquetsecours will make a pre-selection for the current owner and will submit the names of the candidates selected that meet our rigorous criteria for adoption. The final choice of the adoptive family among all candidates will be at the sole discretion of the current owner.
Perroquetsecours must, on a regular basis, put some unclaimed found birds up for adoption and in doing so, it updates a database of candidates interested in adopting a parrot. Therefore, and although this is not its main mission, in exceptional circumstances and at its own discretion, it happens that Perroquetsecours agrees to intervene to help a person in need to find a new family for one or more of their birds.
