Hi Karen, Thanks for your kind message – as a new parrot person, I had never
heard of your group before. Olwyn was found within the hour and is now safely
back in her forever home and I do believe, grateful to be here. She was indeed
in the neighbourhood, sitting on a rock at the beach and being a somewhat
water-phobic grey, this was not a good thing.

She is none the worse for her adventure although she seems to have struck up a
fast friendship with both a Sandpiper and Chickadee. Since her return she has
been regaling me with both their calls but she also seems very happy to be
home!!!
