Habitudes et personnalité : (Selon les observations de la famille d'accueil)
Coco est un jeune mâle cockatiel super sympathique, adore qu'on le caresse à son cou. Avec un peu de temps, il ira à vous et il demandera votre attention, il a besoin de contact. Il permet à tout le monde de le caresser. Il aime la nourriture et adore chanter. Il chante une version claire de kill bill. C’est un oiseau incroyable.
Toutou est une jeune petite perruche et c'est le meilleur ami du Coco. Il est très timide, mais il s’habitue peu à peu à l'humain. C’est un grand chanteur, il chante aussi Kill Bill avec Coco. Il suit Coco partout. Si Coco est avec vous, il volera sur vous et se collera à Coco. Il volera pour suivre Coco, et retournera dans sa cage quand Coco y entrera. Il a beaucoup de potentiel, avec du travail, il fera confiance aux humains.
Fait important à noter, Coco ne peut pas encore voler à cause de rémiges cassées, car il s'est échappé dehors dans le passé. Toutou est un excellent pilote et s'échappera si l'occasion se présente. Pour ces raisons, le foyer dans lequel ils seront adoptés devrait avoir une pièce sécurisée sans accès à une porte extérieure, car ils ont besoin de passer du temps hors de la cage et si une porte est ouverte, ils s'échapperont. En raison d'éventuelles terreurs nocturnes de Coco, ils ont besoin d'une petite lumière la nuit et d'aucune couverture sur la cage. Un type spécifique de cage est nécessaire pour protéger Coco des chutes dues aux terreurs nocturnes (très large mais pas haute). L'adoptant pourra prendre des arrangements avec Perroquetsecours à cet effet pour la cage. Celui ou celle qui adoptera Coco et Toutou aura une chance incroyable car ces oiseaux deviendront les meilleurs amis du propriétaire. Il y a des frais d'adoption de $45.00 pour les 2 oiseaux qui ne devront pas être séparés. Les deux oiseaux ont vu le vétériniare. Nous serons très sélectifs.

Les 2 oiseaux nous ont été cédé car la propriétaire s'en allait en CHSLD.

Par conséquent et bien que cela ne soit pas sa mission principale, il arrive à titre exceptionnel et à sa seule discrétion que Perroquetsecours accepte d’intervenir pour aider une personne dans le besoin à trouver une nouvelle famille pour un ou plusieurs de ses oiseaux.

Perroquetsecours has been mandated to find the best possible family for the following birds presently in Kirkland QC:
Name : Coco and Toutou
Species : cockatiel and budgie
Age : cockatiel 11 months and budgie 8 months
Leg band or microchip : cockatiel leg band
Sex : both male
Buying date : May and August 2023
Buying location: breeder and pet store
The bird is presently in: Kirkland QC
Habits and personality: (According to foster home observation)
Coco is a super friendly young male cockatiel who loves to be petted on his neck. With a little time he will come to you and he will ask for your attention, he needs contact. He lets everyone pet him. He loves food and loves to sing. He sings a clean version of kill bill. It's an incredible bird.
Toutou is a young little parakeet and he is Coco's best friend. He is very shy, but he is gradually getting used to humans. He’s a great singer, he also sings Kill Bill with Coco. He follows Coco everywhere. If Coco is with you, he will fly to you and stick to Coco. He will fly to follow Coco, and return to his cage when Coco returns to it. He has a lot of potential, with a little time he will trust humans.
Important note, Coco cannot fly yet due to broken flight feathers, as he has escaped outside in the past. Toutou is an excellent pilot and will escape if the opportunity presents itself. For these reasons, the home they will be living in should have a secure room without access to an outside door, as they need to spend time outside of the cage and if a door is open they will escape. Due to Coco's possible night terrors, they need a little light at night and no cover on the cage. A specific type of cage is necessary to protect Coco from falls due to night terrors (very wide but not high). The adopter can make arrangements with Perroquetsecours about their cage. Whoever adopts Coco and Toutou will have incredible luck because these birds will become the owner's best friends. There is an adoption fee of $45.00 for the 2 birds which must not be separated. Both birds saw the veterinarian. We will be very selective.
Reason for placing in adoption:
The 2 birds were handed over to us because the owner was going to a elderly home.

Therefore, and although this is not its main mission, in exceptional circumstances and at its own discretion, it happens that Perroquetsecours agrees to intervene to help a person in need to find a new family for one or more of their birds.
